Since her undergraduate days at UC Berkeley, Claudia Morales has been a role model and adviser for other low-income, first generation students like herself, nurturing hundreds of students and families to success after high school. After more than 25 years with UC Berkeley’s Center for Educational Partnerships working in different college access programs, she is currently the Director of the Early Academic Outreach Program, the Director of Products & Services and part of the Destination College Advising Corps Executive Team. Claudia is instrumental in the organization and implementation of the yearly College Day program, a model of how to engage an entire county in creating college-going culture, impacting thousands of students and families throughout Santa Clara County and other communities in California. Claudia is committed to educational equity and has worked with students, parents and educators to increase the number of California high school students who have access to all post-secondary options.
