Khadija Tejan

Khadija is a native of Jefferson City, Missouri and a May 2010 graduate of the University of Missouri, having earned a bachelor's in political science with a minor in history. She also completed a master's of educational policy, organization and leadership, with a concentration in higher education, in December 2013 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Khadija served two years as a college adviser with the Missouri College Advising Corps (MCAC) at Riverview Gardens High School in St. Louis from 2010 to 2012. Upon completing her service with MCAC, Khadija joined the Illinois College Advising Corps as a College Retention Coach and was later promoted to Program and Retention Coordinator. Khadija rejoined MCAC as a Regional Director in the summer of 2015. She is responsible for the supervision of college advisers serving in urban and rural areas of Missouri.
